接待我三個月的host father昨天過世了。 
非常感謝他在那短短三個月對我的照顧。
把我當兒子一樣看待。
現在他離開了，一路好走。

Hi Andrew:

John Walter died last week very unexpectedly. I've attached a link to
his obituary that ran in today's newspaper.

Andrew:

John died during surgery to correct an ailment  called Trigeminal
Neuralgia, if you look it up on the internet you'll see it referred to
as "the suicide disease". The ailment caused him a tremendous amount of
pain, so the surgery was scheduled to correct it. Something went wrong
during the operation, they speculate that he suffered a stroke, which
is like a brain attack. The blood supply to the brain is interrupted
for some reason, with John, they believe that he had a blood clot that
caused the stroke.

His family is doing alright, but this was very unexpected so you can
understand that they are still suffering from the shock. His daughter
is collecting memories from people about John in a book, if you'd like
to write something and send it to me, I'll be sure and get it to his
daughter Lily and include it in the book.
